2024 Defense Acquisition Awards – Nominations Now Being Accepted!
Dr. William A. LaPlante, Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, has officially announced the Call for Nominations for the 2024 Defense Acquisition Award Program . The five annual awards, representing 23 separate categories, recognize individual and team accomplishments that advance the National Defense Strategy and support the Secretary of Defense's priorities through excellence in acquisition. Winners will be honored during an in-person ceremony in December 2024, at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU).
The Defense Acquisition Workforce comprises nearly 162,000 civilian and military professionals from each of the military services, as well as defense agencies and field activities. Their work is critical to building enduring advantages for the Warfighter as the department continues to innovate and modernize. We look forward to recognizing the outstanding contributions of numerous members of the Defense Acquisition Workforce in 2024!
